Hello fellow bookworms!! How are you doing? Hope everyone’s alright.
Anyway, I should mention that this review is sooooo looooooong overdue, which I’m truly awefully sorry about. Sorry Marissa!
Liam’s town
Publication date: February 25th,2019
Liam lives in a town where nothing ever changes. Every day he wakes up, goes to work in his Grandfather’s shop, and spends time with his friends: fiery Trinity, loud-mouthed Fender, and lovable Jenny. But one day, a terrible storm hits his town, bringing a stranger along with it who threatens everything – and everyone – that Liam has grown to love. Slowly, and much to his horror, Liam realizes that his town and the people inside of it are not everything that they seem to be on the surface, and he is eventually faced with a choice: does he want to remain in blissful ignorance, or does he want to learn about the terrible secrets hiding in his town?

When I first saw the front cover of this book,I thought I was in for a sci-fi. Later on, I discovered that it wasn’t a sci-fi at all ,can you believe that?! ,and to be honest I was really pleased with how the book turned out!
The first few chapters were boring, there wasn’t anything interesting really. Liam working with his grandfather in their windowless house, hanging out with his friends Fender, Trinity and Jenny.
It continued on this routine until the day that mysterious guy showed up. Liam was quite afraid of him and he avoided him the best he could but it seems that the new comer wouldn’t leave him alone…
By the time things became clearer, I was so shocked and I felt stupid for not connecting things, it was sooo clear ugh…?!!! *facepalm*
Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this book, it was truly amazing and something I didn’t try before. I would also like to thank the author for considering me to review her book and sorry for being this late ❤
