Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today, we’ll be talking all about the new authors we discovered in 2022 (me in the post and you in the comments;-))
Last year, I’ve tried a lot of books from authors I haven’t read from previously and it was an interesting experience to say the least.
So without further ado, let’s get started!
Tahereh Mafi
Tahereh Mafi is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Shatter Me series. She was born in a small city somewhere in Connecticut and currently resides in Santa Monica, California with her husband, fellow author Ransom Riggs. She can usually be found over-caffeinated and stuck in a book. Shatter Me is her first series, with television rights optioned by ABC Signature Studios; Furthermore, her first middle grade novel, is on shelves now, and Whichwood, its darker companion, will be on shelves November 14, 2017.
Stella Stevenson
Stella Stevenson is quite a new author that I had the pleasure of discovering last year. She’s the author of The Trope, one of my all time favorites and Mother Knows Best, a romcom set to be released late February.
Emily McIntire
Emily McIntire is an international and Amazon Top 15 best selling author known for her Never After Series, where she gives our favorite villains their happily ever afters. With books that range from small town to dark romance, she doesn’t like to box herself into one type of story, but at the core of all her novels is soul deep love. When she’s not writing you can find her waiting on her long lost Hogwarts letter, enjoying her family, or lost between the pages of a good book.
Sally Hepworth
Sally Hepworth is the New York Times bestselling author of seven novels, most recently The Soulmate. Her novel, The Mother-In-Law (2019), has been optioned for a TV series by Hollywood actress and producer, Amy Poehler.

Ana Huang is a USA Today, Publishers Weekly, Globe and Mail, and #1 Amazon bestselling author. She writes New Adult and contemporary romance with deliciously alpha heroes, strong heroines, and plenty of steam, angst, and swoon sprinkled in.
A self-professed travel enthusiast, she loves incorporating beautiful destinations into her stories and will never say no to a good chai latte.
When she’s not reading or writing, Ana is busy daydreaming, binge-watching Netflix, and scouring Yelp for her next favorite restaurant.
Beth Oleary
Beth studied English at university before going into children’s publishing. She lives as close to the countryside as she can get while still being within reach of London, and wrote her first novel, The Flatshare, on her train journey to and from work.
You’ll usually find her curled up with a book, a cup of tea, and several woolly jumpers (whatever the weather).
Heather Walter
Heather Walter has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with both English and Information Science degrees, books are–and always will be–a definitive part of her life.
As an author, Heather loves writing about what-ifs, flawed protagonists, and re-imagined history. Her favorite characters are usually villains.

Deborah Harkness
