I truly enjoy this series so much!! If I said that I enjoyed The Devil’s Apprentice (review here) and The Die Of Death (review here), I truly can’t find the right words to describe what I feel about the third one aka this one….And let’s not talk about the fourth and the FIFTH one for now!!
Philip is quite a character! In the first book, he was the definition of a VERY good boy, and as we get to the next book(s) he starts embracing his dark side more and more, I quite like how his character is changing along with the events, we can see/feel how much different events affect him and help him grow….
I liked that we got to see some other Gods as well, I LOVE mythology and that was quite amazing!!Plus, Kenneth’s writing style is quite attracting and I noticed that once I start any of his books (I only read The Great War series but I really want to read more o his books!), I can’t stop until the final chapter, I become fully immersed that I forget about time and even food! I also like how Kenneth comments on some religious topics even though I don’t really agree with them but I find them truly interesting.
