Lies, secrets, and a sinister plot hide in broad daylight at the heart of the Club Pacifica.
A beautiful tropical resort, exciting new friends, and a handsome guest liaison ā itās the perfect getaway for Chloe, a free-spirited Baltimore girl just getting to know herself. But the vacation of a lifetime quickly takes a dark turn when a young, overly flirty bellhop starts following her everywhere. It gets even worse when he disappears, and Chloe is the sole witness.
As bellhop after bellhop goes missing, she struggles to figure out whatās happening. When suspicion falls upon her, Chloe must not only try to rescue the kidnapped bellhops, but also to clear her name.
Complicating things further is the relationship she forms with Mateo, Club Pacificaās guest liaison. Charming and easygoing, he is everything that her fiancĆ© at home is not, and she finds herself fighting a growing attraction to him. But can he be trusted?
She soon discovers that sheās landed herself in a world of secrets, and, worse, that these are not just those of others, but also the secrets she keeps from herself.
Can she find her way through all the lies to finally discover the truth before itās too late?

Reading The Bellhop Only Stalks Once has been like a fresh intake of breath after pretty anxious/stressful days for me. I was hooked from the first chapter till the last, it wasn’t what I was expecting to be honest, in a good way.
Chloe is set on spending her vacation on the Club Pacifica relaxing and knowing herself and what she wants more. Things got a little annoyingly creepy when the overly friendly Bellhop named Jaime started stalking her. It quickly became worse when he suddenly disappears, Chloe is the last person who’ve seen him. Things get more and more disturbing when bellhop after bellhop goes missing, and the cops think Chloe is the one behind it all.
I honestly don’t know how to think about the characters, like there are some that I find cool but not really at the same time, know what I mean?!? Most of them are quite nice and ready to help when needed though. There’s a lot of action and suspense through the book, though I thought the beginning was a little slow and it can be predictable; about who’s behind the kidnappings, and I’m still processing the ending, that sure is….Well, you should read it to find out!
The story overall was quite interesting; there was a lot of weird things happening and it got even more confusing by the end. Nevertheless, it was a pretty entertaining read!
