Hello and welcome to another book review!! Good morning/evening and hope you’ll enjoy it!

Killer Blonde by Allan Evans

Genres: crime thriller

Every serial killer has a type. But what if that type is part of a larger, more dangerous agenda?

With virtually identical women being murdered in Minnesota, panic is causing huge political pressure to get the killer off the streets. Celebrated investigator Cade Dawkins is given the hot potato case and hopes to get it wrapped up before the governor has his head. But the killer has his own agenda—one that goes beyond simply murdering knockout blondes. As it becomes a cat and mouse game between killer and investigator, Dawkins begins to realize he just may be the mouse.

Thank you Allan or sending me an eARC in exchange for an honest book review. Also, it’s actually released today, so congratulations and thank you!!

Killer Blonde is a crime book about to put it plain and simple a killer who targets blondes as his victims.

It is quite an enjoyable read with an interesting story. The writing style wasn’t really the best for me but it wasn’t the worst either it’s a positive average if that makes sense, the pace was also just “right” despite some minor issues I didn’t quite like.

I personally think the book would have been better if the suspect wasn’t revealed THAT early. I was looking forwards guessing and guessing until the last chapters but that wasn’t the case, we know who he is about halfway through and my mind can’t seem to grasp that.

The other thing that I didn’t like -and I think this one is quite personal/depends on preferences- is some details included, it wouldn’t affect your reading if /when you decide to read this book but it was a bit unnecessary and boring.

Other than that, it was really intriguing, the characters weren’t idealized which made relating to the story easier, they develop quite nicely throughout the chapters.Once you get into the story, you’ll get attached and wouldn’t put it back down. It’s simply a nice read to entertain yourself with especially when you’re not in the mood for something “heavy”.
