Review

Unfortunately, this book was poiled for me before I read it, which I’m quite bummed about but happy that it finally pushed me to pick it up ASAP. I haven’t watched the movie yet, I really like comparing movies to the books they’re adapted from to see the similarities along with the differences and having those “Well, it was better in the book!” moments, you know. So, if any of you have watched AND read the book, please I’d love to hear/read your thoughts/opinions!

By the blurb alone, you can tell that some strange s**t is happening and We’re here for it!! Well, the book didn’t disappoint me and I was just hooked from the beginning. I especially liked part 2 where things get really interesting to put it mildly. The level of madness and scheming going on had my–remaining–brain cells running around in all the good ways, I actually found it REALLY beautifully done!!!

Not only is the writing style pretty intricate, but the way the characters and events were descripted had me feeling like I’m part of the crew, like I’m there seeing it unfold. It was a real adrenaline rush journey that I absolutely loved every second of!!

Despite having an idea where things were going, I throughtly enjoyed reading Gone Girl and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good thriller!!!
