Hello and welcome back!
Is it just me or do you also think September has been a LONG month?
Anyway. Seeing as I’m falling in a predictable reading slump, I decided that the best course of action would be, not to pick up new books, BUT to review the list of books I wanted to read for years and see if I could make a dent in that TBR.
What can I say? I thrive in planning for things I’m not gonna follow through 🤭
I know I’ve forgotten a lot of them but those are the ones I KNOW I’m gonna get to…one day...hopefully soon 🙂
Let me know if you’ve read some of them and if they’re worth it!
-
Jade City by Fonda Lee

-
The Inheritance Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

This is my top one at the moment. I’ve read The naturals by the same author and I LOVED IT! (you can read my review here)
-
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

WHY IS THIS SOOO BIG? THAT’S HUGE!
-
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

-
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

-
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

-
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty

-
A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

I read the first one before the second came out and now, I feel like I need to reread the first one to continue 🥲
-
Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness

Another case of reading the first one and putting off the rest of the series. My plan was to actually read the first book, watch the first season, then the second read, then watch the 2nd season, etc. But I stopped after the first season.

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

-
The Shadow of the Gods by John Gwynne

-
Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb
